Quotes and my thoughts – #1

“I measure my success by how happy I am, not how big the business is or how much money I’ve made.” – Gary Vaynerchuk

I think it is a great quote for us, especially for people who are in a business market. The busier people are in today’s hustle and bustle world, the more stressful they are. Thus, to reduce how stressful we are, it is necessary to raise our happiness. These are some tips to live happier:

  • Ask yourself whether you believe what you are doing: As you know if people are able to do what they love, they will be happier and more productive. Let’s imagine that, you are an employee in Marketing department, and have to work at the office  9-5 every day. In case you are actually passionate about becoming a marketer, what do you feel about your 9-5 job?

“If you’re not happy in your job but you can still build brand equity at work or at home by blogging or creating podcast about what you love, I still want you to plan to leave and launch your own business because life is way too short to spend it working in a job you don’t love” – Gary Vaynerchuk

  • Spend more time with your family: Most people who are on their 50s regret not spending time with their family because once they get older, they have no exciting memory about their family, leading to their sadness. Thus, spending time with your family as much as possible is extremely important to gain happiness when you are young.
  • Take care of your health: In case you have to suffer from sickness, are you cheerful? That’s right, you are not. Therefore, keeping your life healthy by doing more exercise or meditating is also the way of achieving your happy success.
  • Live with your compassion: Aside from taking care of yourself, it is important for you to pay your attention to helping other people. Once you ‘give a hand’ to someone, then she/he is happy by showing her/his smiling face and gratefulness, do you feel happy or suffer from depression?

Please remember that life is too short to live without happiness, and money cannot buy your happiness. Hence, the more you spending time on what you love, your family, your health, and helping others, the better.

Feel free to share your idea and ask me a question! Ready to return your comment xD.
